Indoor Plants
These are plants that earn their place indoors not by being conventional houseplants, but by being genuinely remarkable garden plants that simply cannot survive a frost. Given a bright window, a well-drained pot and the occasional watering when the soil has properly dried out, they ask for almost nothing — and give back colour, texture and character that most true houseplants cannot match.
Many are succulents or Mediterranean natives, built by nature for heat, poor soil and long dry spells. Indoors, that translates to a plant that is actively happier when you forget to water it — which suits most of us rather well.
