Sedum acre 'Elegans', known as the Golden Moss Stonecrop, is an evergreen groundcover succulent with gold, green, variegated, and white foliage, and it produces yellow flowers in summer. 

Despite the "moss" nickname, it's actually a scale-leaved succulent ground cover on prostrate, creeping stems.

The variety has fleshy stems bearing terminal rosettes of stiff, spoon-shaped, medium green leaves with silver tips, and star-shaped yellow flowers about 1/2 inch across held in flat clustersaracteristics of the variety Golden Moss Stonecrop 'Elegans'

Sedums are undemanding plants that thrive in most soil types. The dwarf species are well suited to rock gardens and generally spread quickly.

Leaves alternate, more rarely opposite or whorled, fleshy, flat or cylindrical, entire or toothed. Inflorescence in terminal panicles or corymb-like cymes. Flowers with 5 petals, 5 sepals, 5 carpels, and 10 stamens — white, yellow, purple, red, pink, more rarely blue.
