Muehlenbeckia complexa 'Golden Girl' is a fast-growing, golden-leaved ground cover or a trailing plant that is both drought and wind resistant.
It is particularly admired for its resilience, its rapid growth, and its high adaptibility.
The slender stems are darker than the golden leaves, providing a beautiful contrast.
The stems will climb on any support provided or else root themselves in contact with the ground.
The leaves are initially yellow, then become green over time, creating an almost variegated effect.
The flowering is basically inconspicuous (occuring beginning of fall in most temperate climates).
