Choisya 'Goldfinger' is a variety of Mexican orange blossom. It is a compact, evergreen, aromatic shrub with golden-yellow foliage that gives the plant a luminous and exotic look. The white, orange-scented flowers open abundantly in late spring and repeat in August-September.
The star-shaped white flowers, tinged with pink, are very fragrant - releasing an orange-citrus scent They appear in April-May and often flower again in autumn.
Choisya 'Goldfinger' adapts well north of the Loire in any light, well-drained soil that is not too chalky, in a warm, sunny position sheltered from cold winds. After the first flowering, a light pruning keeps the shrub compact and encourages a second flush of flowers in autumn.
